I know this was released a while ago.. I though eventually everyone would talk while using skills. But it's only Antlan and it's kind of wierd. What's the point?

The problem with having them all talk is that he's already made the sprite frames for when the characters use skills without talking (excluding Antlan), and having them talk would mean having to put a speech bubble inside each frame, but you see the program he is using works like this:

|__ |__ |__ |__ | all the square bits are each frame of the character using a skill or
|__ |__ |__ |__ | attacking, now say you made the first frame have a speech bubble
|__ |__ |__ |__ | if you did then the first frame would be made bigger and so would the
|__ |__ |__ |__ | other frames
|__ |__ |__ |__ |
|__ |__ |__ |__ | The result = Very strange looking animation unless you place each
|__ |__ |__ |__ | speech bubble in the right place and also make the size of the sprite
----------------------sheet bigger aka the canvas, but you would also have to place
each character in the right place now that you have enlarged the 'canvas', to put it in short terms, it would be a lot of work to make every character talk.

Yes, that is the problem. Which is why they'll probably never all talk. On the other hand it only takes 5 minutes of work to remove the speech bubbles in each of Antlan's frames.. If they're not all going to talk eventually it seems kind of odd that only one character does..
