When trying to find a Pianus, you have to use a fishing pole. You can't switch right before the fight either. So Zeru is forced to be weaker... F5

There should be a system that lets you switch weapons (using a turn) or let you switch before the fight.

But I like to fight with fishing rods, only pros fight with fishing rods.
Anyway about switching equips during battle, I don't think I will be able to do that =\.

It is possible with a script. I've seen one for VX since that's what I work on but I'm sure there is one for XP as well.
In VX you couldn't add a script and transfer save files. You had to start a new game... dunno on XP.

For changing equipment before Pianus. You can use the "Call Menu Screen" command on the bottom of the 3rd page of events commands. That will do.

Part of the game was Zeru fighting with fishing rod... so I am intending to leaving it like that.

I talked to zeru bout this one when he came out with... .31 i think it was o.o He said that was the point, zeru was on support duty that battle. Sides, if you're characters are high enuf with good skills, they'll do fine o.o lol at off-topic discussions
