| There is a switch to the left of Maya (the woman you're talking about), it will lower the bridge and you can go across. | |

Another thing, if you come across a problem without knowing what to do, you can hit the spacebar key(talk/activate a command) to get something to happen. For ex: You fell in the hole in Amerest. Now how'd you get to the other side of the land with water? Click spacebar while facing in the direction you are going to. :D Good luck. :) | |
