What is wrong with WHY NOT?

alright back to making this a help i has a problem topic
if been playing wonderking for 2 weeks now and if had som e serious problems
1st i was using hotspot shield on my pc to be able to play wonderking, i also did some other stuff but that is irelevant. point is after a few days my internet explorer stopped working, i was unable to get online at msn and i couldnt start any game, including wonderking.
this is not becease my internet connection isnt working since firefox does work.
since at that time i thought it would get fixed with time, some weird belive of me.
i installed WK and hotspot shield on my moms laptop and started playing again, and you can guess it, the same thing happend to her laptop.
now the problem was realy bad but its fixed now by some awesome computer techno guy, but what im asking is this.
what caused the problem, hotspot shield or WK ?
and is there anyway to play WK for me without using hotspot shield IF that was the problem ?

WK has nothing to do with your problem other than it is what made you use hotspot. My (semi-educated) guess is that hotspot messes with your IP handling along with your host. Same thing happened to me when I tried to... well... hack my router to let me change IP at will...

Anyways, your Internet provider may not be able to handle your IP's encoding and in turn when you receive the response IE can't handle it and other games that have even less compatibility with IP modifying. Firefox itself has a proxy option and that is why it might have been able to interpret your Internet provider's complex(or rather "messed up") encoding.

What he did was probably reset your internet configuration + re-edit the .dlls and registry that hotspot changed. Does it work now like it did at first? Or did he delete hotspot?

well the laptop is working but he couldnt fix my pc so he is gonna ask a friend from his work to look at it, but i have no idea what he did.
but he did delete hotspot on both loptop and pc,...

but is it possible for me to play WK again with a proxy that doesnt mess with IE ?
