I would have said something like that, but I have no idea what is this "Lucas" as I haven't finished FSII, I'm just too lazy...

u need the wood thingie for lucas to sail to orbis in FS 2

Well... then he can get it at the Lit Adv dungeon

To get the bombs/explosives in FS I: Go to the treasure chest in the other town of South Perry, fall down a hole trying to get it, jump over the platform, go through the stairs and get the treasure, and use 1 explosive to explode the boulders. Then go to South Perry's Entrance which is blocked by rocks and use 1 explosive there to get through.

Make sense?

In FS II: To get the wood to sail to Orbis, go to Lith Harbor Dungeon. Finish the Advanced Lith Harbor dungeon, and there is a 20% chance that the boss will give you the wood.

Did you know that in FSI, the upper left hand corner of the plateau where the explosive holding chest is, can be walked through?
