Because... you would have to pronounce it like en-ey-bleer (I suck at making up these). Which is totally different.

It actually would sound the same if it was spelled "enableer", but it isn't, it is "enabler". I was just saying that it would sound en-ey-bleer if it had the two e's like Before said it should.

Yeah.. I tried to make it 3 syllables... but.. when you say bler, it sounds like blur... so I broke it up into a bit more.

I know it because my brother is crazy about languages and stuff, so he keeps talking about pronouncing stuff in English. That was one thing I paid attention to.

Vowels are the letters "a, e, i, o, u". Shwa is the sound in which is in between all sounds. It does exist.

Um, apparently I misspelled it, it is Schwa, not shwa.
