The guy who took over Zure (or Zeru) is Hein (Pein much?) and he's the creator of the other dimension and the leader of the Dark Order, now you play as Xeru and Zeru around the Other dimension WHERE THERE ARE SOO MANY DEAD ENDS F5 and at the end of it Hein kills Zeru and Xeru.

Ok. For the dungeon, on my first try, I randomly went in a path I thought Zeru would do. I mean, hmm... Zeru would like to trick us with this dead end like in the FS I different dimension... so this way! :D

I play little... I play more on EO II. I only got the characters to around lvl 20 though.

Finished EO2 a long time ago even the extra boss... Im waiting for EO3 coming in sep =]

dang zeru that sounds epic, not very good with games like
etrian odyssey. what im waiting for is FS2 v.17 XD
and im playing kh 358/2 days still while i wait. im almost finshed
it completely too :O

Well if you play the first one you can get the general basics and stuff.
After you finish it you can get a password in which can be used to file transfer to EO2... but you pretty much get nothing except a crappy item and the guild name.
Besides EO2 has better mechanics.
I started playing EO2 first and finished it and started EO1, I got to the second stratm in EO1 but for some reason after 15 minutes of exploring I fell asleep (I play on bus rides when I come from school) because the stratum is just too dark and the music is slow... compared to the EO2 ones.
Also I guess you guys know my party member names and jobs lol.

I *cough* tried Etrian Odyssey 1 today, I have to say I do find it pretty entertaining. I guess I'll just play the first one and then the second. I'm currently on the third floor and around level 10.

The names must be FSI and FSII's names, including some dark order members'.

Well it was my mistake to play eo2 first due the fact that if you play eo1 after finishing eo2 you just go like... omg I miss the R L buttons, where is strafe and all that new stuff in eo2 lol... anyway I guess ima make a thread about my chars in eo2 o.o
