Melody is...well, from what I see, rather pragmatic. Also she is Nayu's protector. Nayu is like the cutesy-type loli that talks about herself in third person. Whatever. First, find them in Lith Harbor, sitting on benches. Wipe the floor with Melody (She has 5k HP and low DEF). Go to Henesys next. Do the same. Then go to Orbis.
It is revealed Nayu is the daughter of a Goddess. The Goddess of Tempest refuses to grant her her real power, so you have to beat her up. She has around 80k HP, but she also does the "Hold" antics. Hold basically means hold whatever button the attack says. GL, HF, and waffles.
Here's a moveset.
Attack Command: Forces all your characters to use "Attack," which heals the goddess!
Hold "Up" Failure Penalty: 4k (HOLD THE UP KEY)
Hold "Down" Failure Penalty: 2k (HOLD THE DOWN KEY)
Hold ??? on second hit (Look at the initial yellow lines carefully)
She comes with two Oracles of Oblivion. Take them out first with single attackers or mobbing moves.
EDIT: Goddess has 99999 HP, Melody 1 has 5000 HP, Melody 2 has 15000 HP, and the two Oracles have 42000 HP apiece.
NOTE: Zeru stated "Attack Command" is a glitch-- The Goddess is supposed to attack, not you!
