can we do something about the old members that do not even come online anymore?

Old people come on every few seconds to check on the progress. They might be busy (like Shadowfluxx) and they might have other stuff to do. Antlan, for example. You never thought he'd go back on but he does... secretly and stealthily.

i mean like theres more than a thousand ppl who sign up and forgets this forum and their names r at the back of the list(right right at the back)

What about me? I haven't been here in a couple of years and I just popped by. So never think that people will never come back.

I think it looks better to newcomers if you see a large member count. If you just deleted every old account, then people would think the forum was inactive or unknown and just leave.

Btw, people are active... there are lurkers, and there are also people who have been offline ( or so I thought), but they reply through PM messages... or if they don't want to, they don't have to. :O Other times, they forget or are just too busy... with school life or something.

How would deleting old accounts help, other than freeing the names, which isn't really that much of an advantage compared to people's accounts being deleted and making the forum look as small as it actually is. I know I wouldn't like if a website deleted my account on something because I'm inactive.

And plus its not like this game has 100 million players playing it like maplestory...
if they delete accounts theres still like 99 million left...

Basically, to sum it all up, deleting accounts would be good for clearing up names and little else. There really is no point to it. On the other hand, having all these accounts make more people feel like joining, which is a pro for our cause. It would also infuriate the members that come back to visit once in a while and then realize that their account has been deleted. Unless we have enough members that actually puts a strain on the server or something, just leave it be. Also, back to my first post, why does this bother you so much? Let sleeping dogs lie, they say.
