BBcode [Mini guide]

Just a small guide to explain some of the codes that can be used on the forums.
Also all of these BBcodes can be put down by using the buttons above your message box
when you click "Post Reply" or when you quote someone

Code:

[b] [/b] - The code for bolding letters

Example: Imma roflcopter

[i] [/i] - The code for making letters into italic

Example: Flap your wings

[u] [/u] - The code for underlining letters

Example: Cookies

[strike] [/strike] - The code used to put a line through your words.

Example: Ploppy penguins

[size=xxx] [/size] - Used to change size of letters, "xxx" is replacable with 7, 9, 12, 18, 24. The higher your number the larger your words will be

Sizes 7 - 24 in Order: L O L O L

 [color=] [/color] - Changes font color in your messages.Put "orange", or "red", etc beside the = or a code like #CC2F56 (color codes can be found at colorpicker.com) in the code.

[wow] [/wow] - A code that shows the picture of items from world of warcraft, you need to put in the name of the item or the code (credits to metawe for correcting me)

[rand] [/rand] - A random number code, the number you put in the bbcode will generate a random number from 1 to it.

The number 500:

[updown] [/updown] - The words that are put in the bbcode will scroll vertically in a certain space given. Also applies to [scroll][/scroll]

[hide] [/hide] - looks like a open spoiler box.

[spoiler]  [/spoiler] - when you click on the name of the spoiler box it will show the text put in the spoiler bbcode.
Also if you go [spoiler=xxx] [/spoiler] your spoiler box will have a name instead of it saying "spoiler"

[sup][/sup] & [sub][/sub] - Used to make a index. Makes all the text put in the bbcode smaller and the text centered more upwards then normal letters.

Example: ^{Cool ??}

[list][*] [/list] - makes a list with bullets (bolded dots), every time you put text in front of a [*] then it will create another point. For example [list][*]1 [*]2 [*]3 [/list] will make a list.

[list=1][*]a[/list] - same as the list above except the list is made with numbers in order instead of circle bullets and the 1 in list=1 is just a "name" of some sort for it.

 [hr] - makes a few easy lines down for you

 [code] [/code] - What i've been using this entire time, it is used to view codes and such in forums without actually making them execute.

 [img] [/img] - used to put a picture into your message. You have to insert the direct link of the photo into the bbcode

 [url=xxx] [/url] - The bbcode used to make links clickable. You replace "xxx" with the link you want to send the person to (with http:// infront of your link) and what you want the link to say when they see it

Nice guide. [wow] is used for World's of warcraft items, you put the item code and it shows the item. I think.

yeah i was trying it but some of the items weren't found so im guessing

You have to put in the item name or item number/code.
