| use 21337ninja's pinned fs2 guide or - Spoiler:
1. Talk to melody and nayu located under the portal in lith harbor
2. Fight melody (reccomended level: 15-20) easy
3. Go to orbis
4. Talk to them again
5. fight goddess of tempest
located in a portal which is under the wind temple
you need lv 99 or 1rb with some levels
6. travel to ereve, go through the portal to the right
7. go to the end of the chain of maps and it will tell you that you need permisiion
from a goddess
8. go back to orbis (yes all the way back) and talk to them again
9. go back to that portal where you need permission
CONGRATS now you technically have them in your party
now go finsh the rest of it :D

| Now I really know that I should not play FSII that much. I mean it seems infinitly harder than FSI and I'm stuck on lith harbor dungeon getting all the stupid skills. I might as well kill melody and nayu for the first time right now tho. | |

| NO you SHOULD play FSII! It's AMAZING. Sure, the difficulty is a little higher, but that's why there are dungeons--more opportunities to train! All the dungeons are meant to be a little tough =D
You can kill them now, but it's easier just to wait 'till you've beaten the game IMO | |

| Those who have no patience in mastering the art of RPG-ing.....
Will, of course, not find FSII attractive.
Zeru wants his game not to be too easy, but not too difficult either. That's what I find best about his games: Tons of replay value and difficulty balance. You aren't playing Kaizo Mario RPG nor Etrian Odyssey, but just an RPG game.
I've only game-overed a handful of times in FSII...which is more than I did in FSI. I never got stuck on a boss in FSII, just plowed right through with the correct strategy.
...Of course, I've game-overed a few times via stupid mistakes (Hey, let's NOT use the Amulet after a Stance!)
Still, it's a great game. It's not "infinitely harder," just try something like Etrian Odyssey or the fangame Touhou Labyrinth. You'll be vying for FSII again in an instant.
