If they did try and shoot Voldemort with all his Horcruxes gone, granted, it is possible he could die, but it's infinitely more possible he has like fifteen Shield Charms up. The only reason Harry managed to win is due to the fact the Killing Curse cannot be blocked in any way, sans sacrificial protection. Thus, Harry's Mastery of the Elder Wand caused Voldemort's Killing Curse to rebound on him. Harry used the Disarming Charm, which also made the wand fly out of Voldemort's hand.
If you seriously have no idea what I'm talking about, Draco Malfoy disarmed Dumbledore before his death, and Harry snatched Draco's wand during the skirmish at his manor.
Now hush with all this randomness.

If someone did try and shoot A Elemental Star user with their Stars gone, granted, it is possible he/she could die, but it's infinitely more possible he/she has like fifteen Phoenix Feathers up if he/she only reaches knockout state. The only reason Hein managed to lose is due to the fact the bomb he triggered didn't explode, sans a total failure. Thus, Zeru's Mastery of the Star of Light caused Hein's bomb to fail. Zeru used the Star of light, which also protected him from his incoming death.
