I have way more posts than you. Veteran doesn't necessarily mean how long you've been here....

Veterans require several achievements to be called a 'Veteran':

1. Helpful to the FS community.
2. Have been here for at least 6 or more ongoing months
3. Active for a long period of time, daily - semi weekly.
4. Well known in the FS community.
5. Invited/Allowed to join into the Veterans Group.
6. Posted (without spam) for at least 500 or more posts.
7. Understandable grammar, rarely using the slang terms/ informal internet talk.

Without the listed achievements, there is no way you can be called a Veteran.. or a good member.
Well, that's my opinion. Ultimately, it's up to the group leader and Zeru/Admins to decide.

And I just started this site and I have less homework and school. Thats because I'm turning 10 this year (Grade 4).

Also, I think to be considered a Vet, you need to act more mature at times. A lot of your posts contain mostly spam, which doesn't exactly help your case. And some others, most of us can't even understand.

I can kinda get why you can't understand Max that much. Isn't it his second language?

There isn't really anything beneficial for being in the Veterans group, so why complain?

a sense of accomplishment.... and also... I dunno, respect from new members? or maybe I'm just being stupid, and none of those.... but yeah, it means u've done something that has helped ppl, or stuff like that, and therefore, can be considered part of an elite group of ppl, who are more respected than the rest? (ok... that was probably stupid too)
