Using one of my 15 posts...(Random poem)

So I'm writing a sonnet in Creative Writing based on the premise of Hoshizora no Memoria (The game is NSFW)

So I wanted to share it with you people.
Also, about iambic pentameter, my teacher said I had a half-a-foot of leeway, so it's 9 - 11 syllables per line

Rhymes are Shakespearean, so ABAB CDCD EFEF GG
Not all lines are perfect iamb, and some actually have trochee instead...
But hey, tell me what you think. I need some input to make it better for turn-in quality, and you guys are all I got. ^^;

Beneath the starry sky of memories
A pair of children forged a pact of farewell
to meet again. A child’s fantasies?
Only time, life’s decay, could tell.
Seven years had passed; the pact still stands
The boy, now grown, returns to his home
To seek the companion left in these lands
To seek the companion he left alone
Knowing only a name, and all else naught
He heads for the agreed upon meeting spot
and finds someone there, not the friend he sought
and due to that person her name he forgot...
A star streaks past to show a new love starts;
Or shall the stars’ cruel light split young love apart?
