My computer went laggy :/

When i downloaded Final story 3 0.03 my comp was fast :D but then it went slow. Then the update came. Then i beat 0.03. I want more D: How can i make it faster?

1)It has low-end components.
2)Too many processes are open.
3)You have Vista installed.
4)Viruses?
5)Hard drive is slow or it gots bad sectors or mechanical problems.

5)cmd.exe "chkdsk /f /r" Reboot(Note this takes long depending your hdd .My 500gb one needs 1 hour for it to complete.Also hdd regenerator does a better job.)

Oh finally, number 5 took 50 minutes. I haven't done number 4 yet cause i don't know how to do a full scan or a quick scan. Can you give me a turtorial?

1)Get an antivirus or what we call "internet security"(it has better protection also cracked one ofc)I recommend eset or avast.

Umm where is the internet security or antivirus? My antivirus finished its trial and i'm not aloud to pay.

Try defragmenting it, too. That might help. Just search "Disk Defragmenter," or access it manually via Control Panel.
Viruses might be an issue. INSTEAD of promoting things that are illegal, just try a scan using Malwarebytes or Spybot: Search & Destroy. Both are free, with the former adding more features if paid.

CCleaner might help if you have too much gunk in your browser cache or temp files.

Finally, some easy stuff: Make sure air circulation in your room is good. If it's 95 without air in there, you're probably breaking something. Get a can of compressed air and spray it into your computer's heat sync and vents. I have a personal AC, but you might not, so just try and ensure your computer's always elevated. If it's a laptop, that is. If it's a desktop, try and clean up your room, and maybe take it apart to clean out the dust.

Cookies don't, or shouldn't affect a connection speed. What cookies are...are text files stored in a browser's cache. Yep. Text files. Some things can be "tracking cookies," which could be bad, but Spybot gets rid of them quite handily. Too many cookies are bad, but you're unlikely to be bogged down by there being lots of text files. If you think so, though, just run CCleaner to get rid of crap in your browser, or find your browser's stored data deletion option.

Connection is more likely the issue. Is anyone hogging the bandwidth on your internet? Torrenting, streaming movies, etc.? Is it DSL or Modem? Are you wired into the router or using wireless? What speed is the connection? Even if it was a connection issue, if the page itself loads slowly, that's a connection issue, but if your browser crashes, that's a hardware issue.

If for no reason your internet's really slow, then it could very well be a virus. Viruses run heavy on your computer, constantly telling people stuff you probably don't want them to know. If you're really, really infested with viruses, borrow someone else's computer, then download a stand-alone version of an antivirus on a flash drive, then boot your computer in Safe Mode and run from there.

Finally, if it all goes to hell and doesn't come back, reinstall the OS or just buy a new computer.

Also, uninstall whatever programs you really don't need. (Trust me, if you look at all of the things you have installed, you'll come across some things that are useless or you don't play anymore.
