[AUGUST 2012 POLL] How long do you take to run a mile?

Wow. My last mile was in December and probably will be my last one for a while. Can't really remember what the time was... I think 8-8:59 somewhere there

Given the range of answers, it's most likely how long it takes for you to run a mile.

I'm perpetually in a horrible physical condition, so it's always around 10 mins...except I haven't checked in around half a year, and there's no way I'm running a mile to check.

^Mine would probably be around 10 minutes now too, due to fattening myself up in Asia. But like Neo, there's no way I'm gonna go check.

But last I checked, it was 7:20. (Freshman year)
I didn't take PE in sophomore year. (tennis)
Basically, the only thing I can actually do is sprint for like 5 seconds.

(I walk a mile in 14-15 minutes or so, though.)

That would make a great testing... Giving Red Bull to 7 year olds or something make them run the mile with the energy drink and their natural energeticness. Would be a great idea..
