If SAO had a 2d game you could probably get sprites, but no so you have to make your own :D

Download Bittorrent or Utorrent and then just find a torrent for rpg maker and open the file, the program does the rest (Starting the dl, seeding, etc.)

there are tons of sites with sprites on them. A simple google search may suffice, or there may be a whole website dedicated to what you're looking for.

In case your teacher's wondering, the scripting language the RPG Maker series is based on is called RUBY. Yep, like the gem. Just in case.

RUBY is going to take a while to learn dude...

If you can finish it before your project is due, congrats.
There's going to be a lot of coding involved though...

You don't need to learn Ruby per se in order to make a game in RM, but it sure helps if you want to tweak a few things yourself.

Of course, if you want to code a game like FS from SCRATCH, then....uh...good luck.
